The Summit Restaurant & Bar is officially open and back in business, ready for all of Brisbane to experience. We have been working hard to bring this heritage listed venue back to life, with a fresh new interior and a world-class menu to match.
With the Brisbane skyline and natural bushland as the backdrop of the venue, The Summit Restaurant & Bar provides three distinct experiences: a refined dining room within the heritage building, an elegant public bar, and a verandah offering panoramic views across Brisbane and out to Moreton Bay.
With a menu to match the view, get ready for modern Australian cuisine with a distinctly Queensland heart. Renowned Queensland Chef Kym Machin, and now The Summit Restaurant & Bar’s new Head Chef, has focused on showcasing sustainability, locality and seasonality, with fresh produce sourced from across the state.
The official opening of the venue was recently marked with a celebratory evening, featuring plenty of drinks and uniquely Summit canapes to pair. The event wasn’t just an opportunity to toast the official opening and invite the community to finally see what we’ve been working so hard on, but also to recognise those who contributed many hours and hard work towards the project too.
