The Sound Garden

Located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, The Sound Garden is one of MGH’s newest and most exciting venues. Serving up food, drinks and live music, The Sound Garden has something for everyone – and makes a vibrant addition to Brunswick Mall’s busy social scene.

The venue, which neighbours the iconic Fortitude Music Hall, opened its doors to the public in February 2020, and received a strong, positive response from Brisbane locals who praised its share-style dining options, impressive drinks menu and striking interiors.

Quickly earning itself a reputation as the must-see spot on Brunswick, The Sound Garden has received media coverage from the likes of the Urban List, Broadsheet, The Courier Mail, The Weekend Edition, Concrete Playground and The Herald Sun.

Fitted out with a brass-fronted bar, timber floors and booth seating over two storeys, The Sound Garden makes an impression on patrons; but its key feature is a stunning, seven-metre tall ficus hillii tree that occupies a void between two floors.

The sprawling venue which has capacity for 770 patrons, offers free live music every night of the week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
